# Set options for a card being added

`PATCH /apis/cra.diagrid.io/v1beta1/billing/paymentmethods/setup-intent/{SetupIntentId}`

Choose whether the card being added becomes the default payment method and whether its billing address becomes the organization's. Call this before the card details are submitted.

## Request

### Path parameters

| Name | Type | Required | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `SetupIntentId` | string | Yes | The setup intent's identifier, as returned when adding a card began. |

### Request body

Required.

`application/json`

Choices for the card being added. A choice left out keeps the default behaviour.

- `setAsDefault` (boolean) — True to make the new card the default payment method. The first card an organization adds becomes its default regardless.
- `useAsOrgAddress` (boolean) — True to use the card's billing name and address as the organization's billing details; false to leave the billing details as they are. When left out, the card's billing address is used and the name is not.

## Responses

### 204 — No content. The options were saved.

### 404 — The setup intent was not found.
