## What is D3E?

Diagrid Dapr Distribution for Enterprise (D3E) is a custom distribution of the open-source Dapr project enhancing it with additional security and scalability capabilities. **It maintains 100% compatibility with the open-source Dapr APIs and SDKs** and can serve as a drop-in replacement in your existing systems.

D3E contains multi-tenant support for the Dapr control plane on Kubernetes, enabling organizations to:
