# diagrid mcpserver access user-identity none

Remove the user identity requirement from an MCP server

### Description

Remove the user identity requirement from an MCP server.

This is the default for a new server. Calls are no longer refused for carrying
no user identity.

Note this is not "pass the user through when there is one": with no
requirement, no user identity reaches the server at all. It sees the calling
application and not the person behind it, and cannot apply that person's
permissions or record them in its audit trail. Use "require" if it needs to.

```
diagrid mcpserver access user-identity none <mcpserver> [flags]
