# diagrid mcpserver disable

Disable an MCP server so ids stop loading it, without deleting it

### Description

Disable an MCP server. The server is removed from the dataplane so sidecars
no longer load it and ids cannot use it, while its definition (endpoint,
credentials, scopes) is kept and can be re-enabled at any time with
"diagrid mcpserver enable".

```
diagrid mcpserver disable <mcpserver> [flags]
```

  diagrid mcpserver disable my-mcp --project my-project
```
