# diagrid org data-sharing update

Change how much of your data AI tools can read

### Description

Change the "Data shared with AI" setting for your organization. Only an organization admin can change it.

This is the most any AI tool can read in your organization. It applies to the Diagrid assistant and to every MCP client your users connect. When connecting an MCP client, a user can choose a lower level, never a higher one.

Levels:
metadata  Metadata only. AI tools can see what exists in your organization and how it is running, but not the data your applications process, their logs, or your billing records.
full      Metadata and application data. Everything in Metadata only, plus the data your applications process, their logs and your billing records.

Credentials are never shared at any level: API keys, access and join tokens, private keys, client secrets and passwords are removed before anything reaches an AI tool.

Raising the level asks for confirmation first; pass --yes to skip it.
