What You'll Build
A Google ADK agent with persistent memory that:
- Remembers conversations — Session state persists across restarts
- Maintains context — Continue conversations where you left off
- Scales horizontally — Any instance can serve any session
Prerequisites
- Dapr CLI installed and initialized
- Python 3.11+
- A Google API key
Key Concepts
| Concept | Description |
|---|---|
| Session | A conversation context identified by a unique session ID |
| State Store | Dapr component that persists session data (Redis, Cosmos DB, etc.) |
| Session ID | Unique identifier to retrieve conversation history |
