diagrid mcp install
Register the Catalyst MCP server with an AI assistant
Description
Writes the configuration an AI coding assistant needs to run diagrid mcp serve,
so you do not have to assemble it by hand.
Supported clients: claude-code, claude-desktop, codex, copilot
Claude Code is configured by running its own claude mcp add. The other three
have their configuration file written directly.
An existing server of the same name is never overwritten. If it is already identical, nothing happens; if it differs, the command stops and says so, and --force replaces it after copying the file aside. Note that --force rewrites Codex's config.toml rather than appending to it, which drops its comments — the backup is how you get them back.
This installs the local server, which uses the credentials from your existing
diagrid login. There is nothing to authorize and no network endpoint involved.
