Organizations

An organization is the main Conductor entity under which a set of Conductor clusters are onboarded. The organization contains information regarding your Conductor Free or Enterprise plane and how the usage is tracking compared to the resource limits assigned to the organization.

Note

The below organizational operations and audit logging capabilities are only available in Conductor Enterprise.

Organization operations

  • To manage organization users and configure permissions, visit user management.
  • If available, you can configure SSO authentication for an organization.
  • To automate conductor operations within an organization, use API keys.

Audit logging

Conductor records and displays an audit log for activities including create, update and delete operations for various types of resources. Operations for clusters, application rollouts, alerts, channels, users and API keys are displayed from the past 30 days for audit purposes. Only users with Admin role can view the audit log.

These logs can be filtered by the following fields:

  • Event name: The type of operation that was executed (create, update, etc.).
  • Log type: The resource that was changed by the operation.
  • User: The email of the user that executed the operation or a blank field if it was executed by an API key.
  • Account type: A field indicating whether the operation was executed by a user or an API key.
