Migrate to the new backend

Diagrid Conductor is transitioning to a new backend that will enable additional region options for our end-users going forward. As part of this migration, all existing Conductor organizations must upgrade their cluster connections to maintain full functionality.

All Conductor organizations will become read-only on Friday, November 21, 2025. All connected clusters and Dapr workloads will continue running normally, with no changes expected to your Dapr installation.

Key dates​

  • November 21, 2025 – All Conductor organizations become read-only and new Conductor agent version becomes available.
  • December 31, 2025 – Deadline to upgrade all Conductor cluster agents and complete migration. After this date clusters still running an old agent version lose all connectivity to Conductor.

Platform changes​

Conductor is moving to a new backend architecture hosted at: https://conductor.r1.diagrid.io. If you want to save a shortlink to the correct domain that will always resolve, you can use: https://diagrid.ws/conductor.

This migration provides expanded regional support and additional capabiliities going forward. Your cluster metadata, organization data, and permissions will be preserved throughout the process.

Action required​

Upgrade connected cluster agents​

All connected clusters must be manually upgraded to:

  • Conductor Agent version 2.0.0
  • Available starting Friday, November 21, 2025

Upgrading the Conductor agent on your connected Kubernetes clusters automatically migrates the cluster to the new backend and restores write access. This is a standard agent upgrade that involves downloading the latest Kubernetes manifests via the console/CLI and applying them to each of your connected Kubernetes clusters sequentially.

Migrate to the new backend

All clusters must be running an upgraded agent version by December 31, 2025.

Update outbound network rules​

If your Kubernetes environment enforces outbound traffic restrictions, you may need to update your allowlist to include the new Conductor service endpoints.

The list of updated domains is as follows:

If your organization requires IP addresses, these domains correspond to the following:

  • 176.34.250.24
  • 34.242.255.133
  • 52.19.78.138
  • 52.215.121.18

Clusters with unrestricted outbound internet access do not require any networking changes.

Accessing your new organization​

After migrating your clusters, you can access Conductor at: https://conductor.r1.diagrid.io or https://diagrid.ws/conductor.

All migrated clusters will appear automatically once their agents have been upgraded to the new version.
